Updates - no cool caption about this one

I've decided that I might need to do small blurbs each day to help me remember certain thing's I'd want to remember (more than other things - things that are more meaningful in the long run, ya know?)

So. let's start with the listing.

Over the past months:

• Realised that we need to keep a record of funny things that happen in the office (belly-ache kind of funny)  - Najla started writing on post-its and pasting them on the wall. we now have 3 things
• Najla's "pornography" addiction (coined by me- because of a unfortunate Netflix incident) - Najla is also staff123

• crummy day
• felt better at 10pm - bae suggested to "fluffed" - I'd like to preface this by informing you of my love of fluffed. They have THE BEST waffle pairings. Their waffles are ridiculously fluffy and paired so well with the ice creams (that have unique flavours like lavender blueberry - these ice creams are so perfectly flavoured and aren't overwhelming with sugar/cream etc. only the flavour. like lavender blueberry tastes like you're eating a smell - which i've learned some people dont like, and compare it to eating soap/mosquito repellent. well, to each his/her own) In any case, I love it so much that I've been "saving up" for a perfect time to go. And, even though I rave about it like madness, this would be the first time we've hit the place up since my birthday in February. So, to say I'd built it up to HERE (waves hand over head) WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT. In any case. - went to Fluff, got perfect parking right outside the store - went in, ordered my favourite waffle (Alice In Wonderland, lavender, my love.) PAID FOR IT - sat down.... and then they came to tell me "takde" -  all alternatives were also sold out - the only other alternative was a dollar more, and they wanted us to pay for that (even though it wasn't really our choice :/) - well, that's what happens when you're avoidant of confrontation. Doesn't help that I also feel like I might be a little "entitled" because this is truly a #firstworldroblem, but... man, i have expectations on what good customer service is, and I'm kind of disappointed :( . (Also extra disappointed, because I used to think Fluffed was truly awesome.) well this is going to be a wall of text (not that it isnt already ha hahaha ha). I'm mad yo. this is really long, here are some screens of screaming. (this may be bad screens but is ok) 
• tl;dr Fluffed has bad customer service, and it's just a special kind of bitterness that you get when you've built something up so high, and everything seems to go as planned, and then BOOM. you get a strawberry waffle instead of a delicious lavender one. - not that the strawberry one sucked badly, it didn't. it was just not what i came here for. yep. a special kind of bitterness.

• Talked to Sabs about it -  corn chip story (LOL)

• Finallly showed bae "Brother - Kodaline" - watch the actual music video because it's heartbreaking, can't attach it here (and bae teared - SUCCESS! - also: reason why we had to go try on nike shoes on teh 17th of July)

• Screen from Danielle's phone - bae forgot she existed. the sass in that last message. LOL
• went to Manhattan Fishmarket and saw that they had a promo that would save us a tonne of money - lengthy discussion about what to order - decided what we'd order - called the waiter and found out that the promo starts tomorrow (LOL)
• Huan Jie's phone has a swollen battery, so much so that his phone can now backspins (has been able to for a while, he's just never noticed LOL) 
• "is there something in your phone cover?? why is it curved???"
• "no?"
• "are you sure???"
• "OH! there is there is!" (like whatever's in there explains the huge bulge) *takes out a thin piece of receipt paper with Starbucks's wifi password on it*
• "Dude, that doesn't explain the bulge."
• "oh ya.



Checked with my office bae

• Tried on some seemingly ugly shoes at Nike - they are less seemingly ugly and more sexy than expected. lots of LOL cos the girls version was cuter. 

this isn't the shoe, but dang Nike. you sexy <3

• Game of thrones with bae (over Farm fresh yogurt drink & cookies)
• learned about the "hagfish" - secretes really strong mucus that chokes predators (cool)
• talked about life & the future
